Tesco Nature Choice or as it is now known Tesco Nurture is a private standard that is owned by Tesco.  All Tesco suppliers are required to comply with this standard. This is also a pre-farm gate protocol and whilst GLOBALGAP assesses level of compliance with Good Agricultural Practice, Tesco has positioned Nurture to go beyond good practice and requires that suppliers implement and adhere to best practice in their production processes.
